Questions, answered.
- Can I bring my recipes from another app?
- Yes. Pepita imports MasterCook files, recipes from websites, and exports from other recipe apps. You can also type in or photograph family recipe cards.
- Can I get my recipes out again?
- Always. Export your whole collection anytime, on any plan, in standard formats you can open without Pepita.
- Can my family share one collection?
- Yes. A Kitchen holds your family's recipes, and everyone you invite can cook from it.
- Does Pepita do meal planning and grocery lists?
- Yes. Plan the week, then turn it into one grocery list organized by aisle.
- Will I hit a paywall halfway through a recipe?
- No. Cooking, viewing and exporting your own recipes are never locked.
- Is Pepita free?
- There will be a free plan. Waitlist families hear about pricing first.
- Does Pepita work offline?
- Pepita launches on the web and as an app, and it keeps recipes you've opened on your device, so a spotty kitchen connection won't stop you mid-recipe. Desktop apps that keep a full copy of your collection on your own computer will come later.
- When can I use it?
- We're inviting a small group of families first. Join the waitlist to be one of them.
- Who makes Pepita?
- A small, independent team that started with one family's recipe collection. Read our story.
